Mary Chase

Jadini Garden is owned and run by Mary Chase. Mary was raised in East Lothian, as part of a large farming family, and has extensive local knowledge.

She has lived and worked overseas in Kenya, Australia, North and Central America and speaks French, Spanish, some German and Swahili.

Mary has an old dobby handloom in her house and weaves traditional Scottish fabrics and rugs.

Since purchasing Jadini in 1976 she has raised her family here and in faraway places, but is now home to Gullane and welcomes guests from around the world to share her beautiful home.
